| Today is really boring.
But overall this weekend has been fantabulous. I got a letter in the mail yesterday from Truman saying I got another $1500 scholarship, which brings my total Truman scholarship package up to $3000, which is nearly half of my tuition! (I mean, theres still about $6000 in room & board, so actually only a bit less than 1/4 of my total cost for my first year is paid with this, but whatvever :D)
I also got to make pizzas yesterday at Lucas' house :)
OH! And I found these two amazing guys on youtube. Seriously their videos are so funny/entertaining to watch. AndrewBravener and AmazingPhil. Go check them out :)
This week I should be getting my permit renewed, and we will start looking for a car for me :) :) :) FINALLY!
6 days till my 18th birthday! Huzzah! It's going to be fun.

| So, my interview went really well. I had this really nice girl interview me, and she actually like commented on what I said with personal stories and stuff and conversed with me. It was really cool and made me not feel so nervous. But yeah, she hired me on the spot for running the Mamba so that's neat. I get to go in on the 25th for orientation, then go to training on the 30th :) Yay!
Then after I got home I chilled out for a bit, then hung out with Ian, Kris, and Jeremy. It was pretty sweet, considering I practically never hang out with Ian or Kris outside of orchestra ordeals.
I am on episode 57 of Yu Yu Hakusho. I started only a few days ago, so.... :D |

| Wow, I really haven't written on this in ages. So...
This year is really hard. I just want to skip forward and go to college. This March I'm visiting Truman (yet again) and going to the anthropology meeting because I'm interested in making anthropology a potential major/minor. I really hope I get to stay the night with Monica again, because last weekend was one of the funnest weekends I have had in a long time.
I also can't wait to turn 18. Really, I'm flipping excited. It's going to give me some more freedom, and hopefully my parents can chill out a bit more. This summer I want to go to Austin, TX with a bunch of BAF people, so I'm trying to persuade my mom. Hopefully when I'm 18, she can just deal with it and let me without too much of a fuss. I'm going to get a job this semester/summer so I can pay for everything (and save up for money for next year) on my own.
Bah. I have really forgotten how to write in these things... |
